His duo is one of the most popular ensembles of its sort in Cape Town.

Consisting of ever guitarist Gary Deacon, and Willie van Zyl on sax / clarinet / flute, this duo is a popular choice for background music, with an extremely wide repertoire ranging from classical and light jazzy to popular contemporary.

Should the usual full-time members not be available, the duo often performs with regular alternative performers, such as such as well-know saxophonists Marc de Kock and Stuart Goodwin. The duo is happy to interact with the guests, and will welcome any special requests. An added advantage is their mobile ablity to perform at virtually any location and their ability to stroll around.

With a well-established reputation of entertaining without being intrusive, the Duo is able to provide the perfect background sounds for wedding ceremonies, pre-dinner drinks and/or main events, and is also a popular entertainment option for corporate cocktail functions.
